Here is how the design process works: First, we discuss the project with our client. We make sure we understand who the target audience is, what the web site should accomplish, what kind of technology the site should use, etc. Then we prepare a written proposal that explains in detail what we will do, how much it will cost, what we will require from the client, etc. If the client agrees with the proposal, he returns to us a signed copy.

We also generally require a small retainer check. After the client has given us the necessary documents (this generally consists of such things as company logos, any particular photos or images the client wishes placed on the web site, etc. we build an initial design. We then have the client inspect the design and tell us if she likes it, doesn't like it, or if there are any specific attributes that should be changed. Once a design is agreed upon, we build the web site. Most sites can be constructed in four to eight weeks from the time when we receive the necessary information.

We give a fixed fee estimate for the construction of the entire site, and if it takes us longer than anticipated to complete the site, we absorb the costs.
